BTTF Tourism Fair begins on 19 April

The eighth Bi man Bangladesh Travel and Tourism Fair (BTTF) will be held at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center from April 19 to 21. The fair was organized by Tour Operators Association of Bangladesh (Taub). This year, there will be 160 stalls, including 10 pavilions, 18 mini pavilions.
On Tuesday, a press conference at the Hotel Sonargaon said the director (trade and fair) Taslim Amin Sobhan told this information. In the press conference, he said that Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed will inaugurate the fair on April 19th, Bi man and Tourism Minister AKM Shahjahan Kamal will be the special guest.
The three-day fair will be attended by many tourism companies, tour operators, travel agents, tourism authority and airlines from abroad and abroad. The participating countries are Bhutan, Nepal, Thailand, Dubai, China, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Vietnam and various states of West Bengal, Orissa, Kashmir and Tripura.
Taslim Amin Sobhan said Nepal Tourism Board, Nepal Association of Tours and Travel Agents (NATA), Tourism Authority of Thailand, India's Ministry of Tourism have already confirmed participation. About 50 foreign exhibitors from this first 13 countries are coming to the fair.
The fair will be held in the history of Liberation War, heritage and round table discussions on archaeological sites of our museum and Bangladesh. There will also be a presentation on Adventure Tourism. Apart from this, cultural events have been organized for exhibition of local traditional cultural programs and Sri Lanka Dance Troop from April 5 to 8pm for the visitors on April 20. The fair will be open for visitors from 10 am to 8 am every day.
Bangladesh Tourism Board Chief Executive Officer was present at the press conference. Md. Nasir Uddin, General Manager of Biman Bangladesh Airlines Shakil Meraaj, President of Taufiq Toufiq Uddin Ahmed, among others.
